5 Day Common Dig

The decision whether to have a 5-day common dig this year will be left up to the people that would like to participate in it. We need at least 35 to 40 miners to break even on this event. A sign-up sheet will be available at the Diner from the first club dig. If there are enough miners signed up for the Common Dig by Aug. 20, we will have it. If not - we will plan other festivities to go along with the Auction on Labor Day weekend which will be Saturday, September 3, 2011. So if you have anything you would like to donate to help the club, please bring it to the clubhouse close to that time. ALL proceeds collected goes to the VMRC Club, the best mining club around.

*All miners participating in the VMRC digs or the Common Dig MUST reserve your "spot" on the sign-up sheet one (1) day prior to the starting day of each dig. We will try to honor your request for morning shift or afternoon shift, BUT, the shifts must have equal workers on each one. Plus, if there are more people than jobs, please be kind enough to offer to relieve a worker who has already worked a couple of hours. This will make our digs very friendly and helpful to all concerned. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
