Hello fellow club members and prospectors, I hope you are all ready to come out and get your feet wet this season, the rivers are proving to be very good to us this year with lots of color showing up in this years first digs.We have several new members this year so give them a BIG WELCOME to the best gold miners club anywhere! We have been busy over the winter months here at The Lucky Strike, we have about 95% of the work on the club house completed, and we want to take this opportunity to THANK each one of you that has come out and worked so diligently on this project, and now we are all going to be able to enjoy this building. Remember club members if you would like to use the club house for a private function just check with Doug or Liz and schedule the date, club members are eligble to use the facilities at no cost. Our first club dig of the season was a great success with the most participants ever on one dig. We found GOLD and had time for some good fun and comraderie, (as only gold miners know how to do). We expect great times this season and hope that you will get to be a part of the festivities here at The Lucky Strike and The VMRC. We look forward to seeing each one of you very soon and don't forget our July 4th celebration will be held on July 3rd this year.
